My latest campaign for Air New Zealand broke last week. It combines the feel of the brand work to date with the launch of their new product, a complete over-haul of the long-haul experience.

There’s quite a story behind it. 5 years ago Air New Zealand decided to design their own seats after a frustrating visit to Boeing. After 2 years of research and 3 years of secret product development, they are now the only airline who can boast lie-flat beds in economy, food whenever you like it and invection ovens to cook the food from fresh. They’ve also developed a Premium Economy seat that rivals a lot of other airlines’ business class and a business bed developed alongside sleep specialists. All that plus a cool, modern looking interior and brand new uniforms for the crew.

I worked with writer Steve Heath and photographer Brian Finke, who shot my original campaign for the airline.
